Trunk or Treat!
More New Boston residents will have the opportunity to participate in the town’s Traditional Trick-or-Treat fun. New Boston residents will be able to register for a limited number of parking spots in the Town Hall parking lot so they can park and decorate their vehicles for incoming Trick-or-Treaters. They are encouraged to dress in costume and hand out treats to Trick-or-Treaters. Since the New Boston village is the central location for most Trick-or-Treating, this event will add more stops for the Trick-or-Treaters and include more families who may not get Trick-or-Treaters at their homes. There will also be a contest for the best-decorated vehicles. Make it a family affair and have fun with it!
Register your vehicle for one of up to 12 parking spots in the Town Hall parking lot for $10.
INFO and RULES:
You can park, set- up, and start decorating at 4:45pm (must be parked by 5:30pm).
Judging is at 5:45pm. Trick-or-Treat is 6:00-8:00 pm. Winners will be announced at 6:00 pm.
You must clean up your parking spot and vacate it by 9:00pm.
Your vehicle must be legally registered. One vehicle per spot, no trailers.
Your decorations need to be family-appropriate; no gore, vulgar, or excessively scary themes.
You need to bring all your own supplies including candy/treats (up to 1,000 pieces) to hand out to Trick-or-Treaters.
There is no access to electricity. If you want lighting, you must supply your own power source. No gas generators, only battery-operated decorations, please.
